What the Market is

The Market works as the financial meeting point of BoardMasters. It brings together assets, transactions and public announcements related to companies participating in the simulation.

From this screen you can search listed values, review rankings, check price charts, place orders, subscribe to issues, participate in corporate operations and follow news that affects the market.

It is a key section for any player who wants to invest, raise capital, analyze opportunities or compete for control of other companies.

Stock market

The stock market lets you explore public companies inside BoardMasters. You can search by country, company or ticker, review country indexes and check rankings for top gainers, losers and volume.

When you select a stock, a detail view opens with candlestick charts, time ranges, basic indicators and public company data.

From the detail view you can also buy or sell shares using different order types, such as market, limit or stop orders. You can also review your position, average price, market value and open orders.

This part of the Market concentrates the main trading activity for public company shares and helps track the evolution of each listed company.

Other companies’ IPOs

The IPO section shows active public offerings from other companies. Players can review the reservation price, subscription progress and the amount the company is trying to raise.

Participating in an IPO lets you reserve shares before the company starts trading in the secondary market. The screen shows reserved shares, operation progress and available public information.

IPOs are a way to enter new companies early and analyze opportunities before their price begins to move freely in the market.

Bonds: primary and secondary market

The bond market is divided into primary market and secondary market.

In the primary market, players subscribe to new issues. The company issues debt, raises nominal capital and commits to paying coupon interest during the defined period. At maturity, it returns the nominal amount to bondholders.

In the secondary market, already issued bonds can be traded between players. Their price can change depending on supply, demand, expected yield, coupon, maturity and perceived issuer risk.

This section helps analyze yield, volume, price, issuer, maturity and the market quotation of available bonds.

Capital increases

Capital increases allow a company to issue new shares to raise additional money.

In the Market you can review open capital increases, issue price, subscription progress, subscribed shares, relevant dates and operation status.

For investors, a capital increase can be an opportunity to enter or increase a position. For the company, it can finance growth, strengthen the balance sheet or execute new strategies.

Takeover offers and absorptions

Takeover offers allow a company to try to acquire another company through a fixed-price public offer. Shareholders of the target company can accept the offer and sell their shares.

The section shows the buyer, target company, offer price, acceptance window and progress toward control.

If the absorption succeeds, the target company disappears inside the simulation. The absorbed player loses their company, stops being CEO of that company and the absorbed company is removed.

The absorbed company’s gems also move to the buyer. This makes takeover offers a key tool for expansion, corporate control and accumulation of strategic advantages.

Market news

The news section collects public announcements related to the market and BoardMasters companies.

It may include IPOs, dividends, bonds, buybacks, capital increases, takeover offers and other relevant corporate events.

Filters by company, country, category and date help players follow market evolution and detect events that may affect investments or strategic decisions.

Public CEO offers

The vacancies section shows public CEO offers published by company boards looking for executive leadership.

Players can review active offers and filter them by company, level or weekly salary.

These offers allow players to apply to manage companies inside the simulation and compete for leadership positions in companies that need a CEO.
